We are proud to announce that the technology investment in Karcag has reached its first major milestone: the tire waste preparation line and related infrastructure have been handed overto RE-POL Kft. and will be operational from 1st of September 2025.
The line can process and prepare 10,000 tonnes of tire waste for the chemical recycling plant. The steel and textile fractions produced by this closed technology will be collected by contracted recycling plants, while the prepared rubber raw material will be stored in a closed facility until the chemical conversion technology is complete.
The first element of NE-TECH’s turnkey technology delivery is the preparation of tires, followed within a few months by the chemical technology, and then the post-treatment and packaging of industrial recovered carbon black. This enables tire waste to be returned to the raw material cycle after conversion according to the circular economy rules.
